The Oaks Club is one of the more exclusive golfing and country club communities in Sarasota. The Oaks Club encompasses 1,000 acres of land including a section along Little Sarasota Bay and has become known as a standard for those who enjoy luxury living. This parcel of 1,000 acres was owned by the wealth socialite business women, Bertha Honore Palmer over 100 years ago when she moved to Sarasota. Mrs. Palmer built her dream home on the land where The Oaks Club now stands and it was sold by Mrs. Palmers heirs to the Propps Group, who became the first developers of The Oaks.

The Oaks has three very distinct gated neighborhoods, The Oaks Clubside, The Oaks Bayside, and
The Oaks Preserve which includes the condominium towers of The Meridian at the Oaks Preserve. These three neighborhoods have a variety of homes from bay front homes, high-rise condominiums, townhouses, maintenance-free villas, and luxury estate homes. Membership to The Oaks Club is required of all property owners in any of the Oaks neighborhoods.

Includes: Unlimited golf (7 day advanced tee times), tennis (72 hour reserved court times), swimming and croquet, full dining and social privileges, complimentary bag storage and range balls and opportunities to serve on The Board of Governors, committees and to vote on issues affecting your Club.
SOCIAL $40,000 – non-refundable initiation fee$ 5,355 – Annual dues, billed quarterly in advance
$ 65 – Monthly service charge
$150 – Quarterly Capital Charge
$900 – Annual Minimum *
Includes: Unlimited tennis (72 hour reserved court times), swimming and croquet, full clubhouse and dining privileges and opportunities to serve on committees. Golf privileges at 50% guest fees for June, July, August and September only.
Membership in either the Equity or Social category is mandatory with any real estate purchase.
Memberships cannot be downgraded.
Dues and fees are subject to change by majority of the Board of Governors.
Dues are subject to 7% Florida Sales Tax.
