Welcome to our Schools and Education page for Sarasota, Florida. When my husband and I moved to Sarasota in 1999 we moved with 3 young boys. Our oldest was going into fifth grade, our middle son was going into third grade, and our youngest was in pre-school. Now they are in college and high school. Having raised 3 boys through the education system in Sarasota I know first hand, what a great system of schools Sarasota has to offer you. If you are considering moving your family to Sarasota, the schools will be a very big part of your life.
It would be impossible for me to describe to you each school and what they have to offer on this page, so what I have done is provided links to the school systems and where applicable the individual school’s web pages. If you have questions about what school serves what area, you are always advised to contact the school department directly.
