Oaks Clubside - Oaks Bayside - Oaks Preserve - The Meridian

The Oaks Club is one of the more exclusive golfing and country club communities in Sarasota.  The  Oaks Club encompasses 1,000 acres of land including a section along Little Sarasota Bay and has become known as a standard for those who enjoy luxury living. This parcel of 1,000 acres was owned by the wealth socialite business women, Bertha Honore Palmer over 100 years ago when she moved to Sarasota.  Mrs. Palmer built her dream home on the land where The Oaks Club now stands and it was sold by Mrs. Palmers heirs to the Propps Group, who became the first developers of The Oaks.  The Oaks became the first gated community in Sarasota and home to The Oaks Club,  an exclusive members only golfing and country club with two 18 hole championship courses, The Eagle and The Heron.

The Oaks has three very distinct gated neighborhood;,
