Siesta Key is perfect for Beaches, Bars, Boats, Restaurants, Shops, along with Kayak and Paddle Boarding. The waters of the Intracoastal Waterway ICW and the Sarasota Bay make it the perfect location to Kayak and Paddle Board in protected waters while enjoying the scenic views of majestic homes, boats and wildlife. The ICW is great for leisurely paddling amongst the mangroves, watching dolphins and manatee and fishing. Sarasota is know for great fishing for snook, redfish, trout, bluefish, Spanish mackerel and pompano just to name a few.
You can always rent Kayaks and Paddle Boards at the southern area of Siesta Key across from Turtle Beach. This area has two boat ramps and you are directly into the ICW protected waters with fantastic views.
