Sarasota Arts Education to partner with the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts

The Sarasota Arts Education will be partnering with the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts to expand art education in elementary and middle school.  Sarasota has become the 6th city to be chosen for the “Any Given Child” free initiative program that pairs local arts organizations and educators with staff members form the john F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  

Sarasota has long been recognized as the “Arts Capital of Florida” and has beaten 7 other Florida Cities and hundreds of cities through-out the country for this position.

Siesta Key Sunsets are spectacular.  We often enjoy going for long walks on the beach of Siesta Key and having Siesta Key on the west coast of Florida gives us breathtaking water sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.  Every time we are walking on the beach of Siesta Key you see rows and rows of people taking sunset pictures with their iphones, droids, small cameras, and very expensive large cameras on tri-pods. Siesta Key beach at sunset has become a very popular site for taking family pictures and for sunset weddings.

Apple Store Coming to Sarasota

 It was announced in the paper today, November 7,2013 that an Apple Store will be coming to Sarasota.  This has been a long awaited and much anticipated addition to Sarasota.  Back in November of 2011 it was reported that the Apple Store was coming to the Southgate Mall after their renovations.  Well we all waited and waited and waited.....

Prestancia Home sells on Losillias Drive

This beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained Prestancia home located on Losillias Drive was recently purchased by one of my international customers.  I had been working with my customer over the past several seasons showing them properties in several different Sarasota country club neighborhoods.   They absolutely fell in love with the Palmer Ranch community of Prestancia.  I think when I took them to lunch at the TPC Prestancia club house and they had a chance to meet Wendi Frindell Crisp, the director of membership services, that help to solidify their decision that Prestancia was their style of living.
