Home Prices and Inventory Rise in Sarasota and Manatee

SARASOTA, Fla. (March 21, 2023) – Home sales in Sarasota and Manatee counties showed a year-over year decline but a month-over-month increase in February. According to data from Florida REALTORS® and compiled by the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM), inventory continues to increase significantly from the same time last year while the number of days from listing to contract has also increased by more than 250 percent in the North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton MSA.

SARASOTA, Fla. (December 21, 2022) – November home sales in the two-county region are as low or lower than the lag reported from Hurricane Ian just a few months ago. Median sales prices continue to show year-over-year increases, while other factors point toward more typical market conditions for the region. Inventory Turns Around for Single-Family Homes in April

SARASOTA, Fla. (May 19, 2022) – The active inventory of single-family homes showed a positive change in April 2022, the first year-over-year increase for the North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton MSA since May of 2019. According to data from Florida REALTORS® and compiled by the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM), closed sales and pending sales are down but demand is still strong with properties going under contract within a median of five days.
